Hart Wins LOORRS Round 8

7/07/2010

Stronghold Racing’s Marty Hart rode his Maxxis Bighorns to the top of the LOORRS Pro Lite Unlimited podium at Round 8, held June 27 in Tooele, Utah. Brian Deegan, also on Bighorns, took second place.

“They did awesome as usual,” said Hart of his Bighorns. “We were able to finish second at Round 7 and first at Round 8. The track conditions were different; they were slippery, and then it became dry slick at the end, so you have to have a tire that does well at both. The Bighorn really performs well on both surfaces.”

In the racing debut of the Maxxis RAZR SCR, Rob Naughton took third place in Round 7’s Pro 2 Unlimited class. The new model demonstrated its off-road bona fides in one of the sport’s most competitive classes. Built especially for short-course racing, the RAZR SCR can be used in Unlimited 2/ Pro and Unlimited 4/ Pro 4. The wide footprint and large tread blocks make it easy for grooving, and the RAZR SCR also has a soft compound for extra traction.

Maxxis congratulates Marty Hart on his victory and thanks all of its drivers for their fine performances.
